Emergencies can happen at any time. That’s why it’s important to be prepared and know where to go when you need medical care - fast. The emergency medicine team at Mat-Su Regional Medical Center provides care to patients in Palmer, Alaska, and surrounding areas when they need it most.
The highly trained staff can provide care for everything from cuts and broken bones to life-threatening conditions such as heart attack or stroke. We provide efficient, prompt and compassionate care.
The emergency department is a full service, 22-bed unit staffed 24 hours a day that offers immediate access to complete laboratory, imaging, cardiac catheterization and surgical services and features intensive care, inpatient and observation units. Nurses are trained in both advanced cardiac life support and pediatric advanced life support.
Air Ambulance Services
The air ambulance offers assistance with transports for emergency patients within our 23,000 square mile service area. For ambulance transport to the Mat-Su Regional Medical Center emergency department, call 911.
