Volunteer Opportunities
Mat-Su Regional Medical Center volunteers help in a wide variety of areas within the hospital, the outpatient center, and in the community. They do everything from helping in the emergency department to guiding tours at our annual Baby Fair. With such a wide variety of volunteer positions to choose from, you are sure to find a rewarding experience at Mat-Su Regional Medical Center.

Requirements
- Must be at least 15 years old for volunteer service
- Complete an “Application for Volunteer Service”
- Interview with volunteer services manager
- Sign a Confidentiality and Commitment Agreement
- Complete tuberculosis (PPD) test initially and annually thereafter
- Complete drug screening
- Complete fingerprints and background check
- Complete on-the-job training with an existing volunteer
- Annual performance evaluation
- Commit to a minimum 100-hours of volunteer service per year
- Schedules typically consist of a 4-hour shift one day a week
