Current Visitor Guidelines
As a community-based healthcare provider, Mat-Su Regional Medical Center’s highest priority is the safety of patients, the healthcare team and the community.
To ensure the safety of all, Mat-Su Regional Medical Center has implemented the following guidelines for visitors:
- Please wear a face covering in the hospital if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms: cough, fever, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell.
- Visiting hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. daily.
- The intensive care unit, Family Birthing Center and pediatric unit have more specific visitor guidelines that are adjusted on an individual basis. Please check with these departments prior to your visit for the most current information.
Staying in touch with family members is important and we encourage you to use phone, email, text, FaceTime and Facebook. Here are some tips to help improve communication and assist you with supporting your loved one during their hospital stay.
At Mat-Su Regional Medical Center, we understand that coming to the hospital as a patient or as a loved one's support person can be a difficult, often overwhelming experience. Whether you’re preparing for a hospital stay or stopping by to see friends and family, knowing where to go and what to bring will help make your visit less stressful. To make your experience easier, we want to provide you with helpful information you may need to plan your visit, such as what to expect, directions and more.
